AMP Instrument Calibration

Instrumentation Calibration

When speed is vital, removing instruments from a plant, decontaminating and then despatching them off site may not always be a practical option. AMP offers a full on-site instrument calibration service, fully documented and traceable to National Standards. Whether it is pressure or vacuum, temperature or flow, emissions or analytical, AMP has the equipment, the resources and the expertise to provide total site cover.

Whilst many manufacturers have their own service and support engineers, the installation is often outside of their scope of supply. We are pleased to be called upon by some of the largest instrumentation suppliers to provide full installation services. Full commissioning is available or alternatively the manufacturer can complete the commissioning, ensuring our installation meets with their requirements.

Control Panel Fabrication

To ensure we can precisely meet our client’s requirements, our engineers are experienced in a wide range of skills from mechanical control to ladder logic PLC’s. Coupled with our extensive experience within the control industry, we have the necessary application knowledge to produce small standalone panels right up to complex cabinets fully integrated into your DCS.

Valve Refurbishment

From simply replacing the packing to machining the plug and seat, AMP can offer a total refurbishment program, inclusive of stripping the valve and actuator down to its components, blasting, respraying and replacing gaskets and seals to return the valve to its original specification and appearance. Any associated positioner is fully tested before the complete assembly is scheduled for final testing
